On April 14, 2023, the awarding of the 2023 Friedrich Weller Prize to Yigal Bronner and Lawrence McCrea for their monograph First Words, Last Words (Oxford 2021) took place at the 2023 Spring Public Meeting of the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Leipzig.
