As part of the Chinese Film Festival Leipzig, the Cinémathèque at the naTo is showing the Tibetan feature film "Balloon" in the original language with subtitles.
Plot
The harsh, deprived lives of the Tibetan family around Drolkar are turned upside down when she gets pregnant with her fourth child. In an attempt to hide the pregnancy from state birth control, the family forges a daring plan.
