About the Music and Politics Reading Group:
Established by PhD candidates affiliated with the Music Faculty of the University of Cambridge, the music and politics reading group provides regular opportunities for music scholars from across the UK and around the world to meet and discuss issues pertaining to music and politics in the broadest sense. The group meets via Zoom on the last Wednesday of every month to explore relevant texts, ideas, and trends in current scholarship, cutting across disciplines and facilitating lively discussion in an informal setting. We welcome participation from researchers at all stages of their careers.
