Researchers from the faculty are involved in the research profile area of the University of Leipzig and in large research associations spanning several disciplines, which are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), among others, as well as in leading large-scale projects of the Sächsische Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Leipzig.
