University Information Day: What is social and cultural anthropology?

During the University Information Day Dr Thiago Barbosa will introduce the B.A. and M.A. degree programmes in Anthropology at the University of Leipzig in his lecture ‘What is Social and Cultural Anthropology?’. We welcome all those interested to understand the complexity and diversity of life realities. Dr Thiago Barbosa will discuss how social and cultural anthropology scrutinises norms, analysis phenomena through their context and examines the creation of social reality as well as the contradictions that arise in this process.
